About me
Dr. Michael Klufas specializes in the treatment and management of vitreoretinal diseases with a focus on treatment of age-related macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, retinal imaging, clinical trials, pediatric vitreoretinal disorders including retinopathy of prematurity and innovative vitreoretinal surgical techniques and device development.
Dr. Klufas is board certified and of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Retina Specialists, and Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology. He received his undergraduate degree from Brown University, and is a graduate of Weill Cornell Medical College. Dr. Klufas completed his residency at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell, followed by a vitreoretinal fellowship at Jules Stein Eye Institute, UCLA.
